Submission, review, notification and registration all happen in one place. You use the same account for the whole conference.
There is no separate registration form on this website, and no e-mail submission route. If something in the portal does not work as expected, write to the conference secretariat rather than sending your paper by e-mail, and we will fix the record on our side.
What the extended abstract should address
Approximately 500 words, enough for reviewers to understand the research project and its potential contribution. Depending on the stage and type of research, address as appropriate the research problem, objective or question; the theoretical background and relationship to existing literature; the research design and methodology; the empirical setting or data, where relevant; findings or preliminary findings; and the expected theoretical and managerial contribution. The call sets the same out as a list.
Review and selection
Extended abstracts will be evaluated on relevance to innovation and product development management, clarity of the research question or objective, engagement with relevant theory and research, appropriateness of the research approach, originality and potential contribution, and potential to benefit from discussion at IPDMC.
In keeping with the developmental character of IPDMC, the selection process will consider the potential of the work as well as its current stage of completion. Decisions are notified on 15 January 2027.
Final papers
Authors of accepted abstracts will subsequently be invited to submit either a Full Paper of up to 10,000 words or a Research Design Paper of up to 2,000 words, excluding tables, figures, and references. The final paper submission deadline is 19 April 2027.
Withdrawals
If you need to withdraw, do it in the portal and tell the conference secretariat.
